Captain’s Log 260826 – A Quiet Page of Memory

I have added a new page to the site.

It is not about sunset cruises, fishing trips, or the next destination on the lagoon. It is simply a place of remembrance.

My father gave me the water. He taught me the feel of a boat, the pull of new horizons, and later helped me see the possibility of this life on the Ébrié Lagoon. Much of what I am building now began in conversations with him.

Jason was my son. His time here was short, but his memory stays with me. When I spoke of Abidjan and the boats, he wanted to be part of it. That thought has not left me. In its own way, it gives me a reason to keep going and to build something that carries the Murray name.

I wanted there to be a quiet page for them on the site.
