Captain’s Log 120526 – What to Expect on a Sunset Cruise with Us
Captain's Log 120526
A lot of people ask me what a sunset cruise on the Ébrié Lagoon actually feels like. The truth is, every cruise is different — because every group is different.

We don't run fixed, cookie-cutter trips. Instead, we create a unique experience tailored to you.
You'll meet us at the departure point just before 17:30. The boat will be clean and ready. We discuss what you'd like — your preferred drinks, snacks, music, and the kind of atmosphere you want. Some groups like it quiet and romantic, others prefer something more lively with their own playlist playing through the boat's Bluetooth.
We usually start with the most popular and comfortable option — our spacious pontoon boat with plenty of shaded seating. But we can also discuss other boats if you have a preference.
Once we leave the dock, the captain will chat with you about where you'd like to go. Some groups want to drift peacefully through the mangroves, others prefer a gentle cruise with views of the city skyline. We shape the route together based on what you feel like that evening.
As the sun begins to set, the lagoon transforms. The water turns golden, then orange, and the city lights start to sparkle in the distance. This is when the magic happens — people relax, conversations flow, and memories are made.
We normally return around 19:30–20:00, but we're flexible depending on how the evening unfolds.
What you can expect:
- A truly personalised experience tailored to your group
- Your choice of drinks and snacks
- Music from your own phone via Bluetooth
- A comfortable, stable pontoon boat (our most popular option)
- A peaceful, unhurried atmosphere
- A captain and crew who listen and adapt to what you want
This is not a standard tourist cruise. It's your own private evening on the lagoon — relaxed, personal, and created around your wishes.
Each group leaves with their own special memories.
Looking forward to creating one with you soon.
